Tuesday

cooking workshops:
After
breakfast, as a group the class participates with the teacher in planning a complete
menu, then prepares it for lunch under the expert supervision of the teacher and
cooking class assistants. Afternoon
classes: There is one afternoon class each day Tuesday through
Friday, including: a question and answer session, optional movement workshops,
and a closing session on Friday. There are several hours free in the afternoon
and all evenings are free. Afternoon
and evening free time options: On
campus options include: Simply
relax, enjoy a book, socialize, or stroll around our scenic property. Free
yoga and movement classes on some evenings. Private
shiatsu sessions or macrobiotic consultations may be available. Or
go on a Berkshire adventure:
To
attend Way to Health PLUS some familiarity with macrobiotic foods and preparation
is required. You are eligible if
you have done any
one of the following:
- Previously
attended a Kushi Institute program
- Previously
attended other macrobiotic cooking programs
- Studied
cooking privately with a macrobiotic teacher
- Attend
Way to Health starting August 15 then go on to Way Health PLUS

Our Location:
Situated on 600 acres of rolling wooded hills
in the heart of the beautiful Berkshire mountains of western Massachusetts, the
Kushi Institute campus is an ideal location for relaxation, reflection and renewal.
Economical
Airport Shuttle Service! If you are traveling by air you can avoid
the high taxi fees from Bradley International Airport (about $200 each way!) by
taking our convenient shuttle service. For only $50 each way our shuttle service
will pick you up and bring you back. The shuttle only runs on specific days and
times. Please call for details and program space availability before making flight
