Kitchen Volunteer (CRV or Standard)

Job Description:
Kitchen Volunteer
Washing dishes
• Cutting veggies
• Cleaning kitchen and dining room
• Sweeping
• Mopping
• Cooking greens
• Roasting seeds
• Making gomashio
Hours:
• Generally, 40 hours per week (daily hours will vary according to shift needs)
• Weekend hours are required.
Benefits for all volunteers:
• May attend most Kushi Institute classes when not on duty
• Room and meals included
Benefits for CRVs only:
• Eligibility to attend one Macrobiotic Leadership Program Level upon completion of one CRV session
Requirements:
• Reliable
• Punctual
• Ability to work well with others
• Cooperative
• Good organizational skills
• Detail oriented and high level of accuracy
• Multi-tasking abilities
• Sense of humor a plus
