Program
Structure:
Three
month-long "Levels" make up the foundational part of the
program. After completion of Level 3, students may go on to advanced
studies in Level 4, which is offered in six week-long courses. Students
can take the program in time frames that meet their needs by choosing
from our 2-week module or month-long Level option. Levels can be
taken back-to-back up through Level 3. See the program calendar
for details. For each level successfully completed, students receive
a Certificate of Completion.

In addition
to the main subjects, each Level also includes other classes and
workshops you will see listed in these materials. Each subject is
integrally linked to the others, and is necessary for the full understanding
of macrobiotic principles and practice. All subjects includes hands-on,
experiential training.
Below, you
will find a class-by-class course outline of each Level. Please
note that the Kushi Institute faculty may make changes in the class
topics as they deem necessary for the improvement of the course.

Program Pricing

|
You may choose to attend one-month Levels
up to to three month-long Levels consecutively, or you can
take the Levels in as many one-week blocks as you want, depending
on your individual needs. The program prices per participant
are as follows (all prices include meals):

One month-long Level (for Levels 1,
2, and 3):
One week of Levels 1, 2, or 3
Two consecutive weeks (at $1,200 a week)
Three consecutive weeks (at $1,100 a week)
One week-long Level 4 session:

If you sign up to take all three Levels consecutively, you
will receive a discount of $750 off of Level 3. In addition,
there is an early-payment discount for each session. If you
pay in full by the discount date you will save 10% off of
each program, a savings of nearly $400 off of each full Llevel,
and a total savings of $1873.50 if you take all three levels
together.
Special: If you take all three Levels consecutively
starting in January 2008, you will receive a $1,500 discount
off of Level 3, or double the usual discount. This great deal
will save you $2548.50 off of the cost of taking each Level
individually when you pay in time to receive the early-payment
discounts.
